Joseph Wooten, EIT, is a dedicated professional in the field of engineering, currently serving as a Research Intern II at HRSD since January 2021. With prior experience as a Lifeguard at Massad Family YMCA from May 2019 to May 2020 and as the Head Lifeguard and Pool Operator at Virginia Pool Services, Inc. from May 2017 to September 2018, Joseph has developed strong skills in safety and operations management. Joseph obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Old Dominion University in 2023 and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering at Virginia Tech, expected to graduate in 2025. Joseph also holds an Advanced Studies Diploma from Colonial Forge High School, completed in 2019.
