Laura Beavis is an experienced communications and marketing professional with a robust background in fundraising and corporate partnerships. Currently serving as a Programme Engagement Officer and previously a Senior Communications Officer at Hampshire County Council since June 2021, Laura has held various significant roles, including Marketing Campaigns Manager and Corporate Partnerships and Events Manager at Wessex Cancer Support between November 2018 and June 2021. Notably, Laura contributed to raising £1.8 million while managing a partnership for the Virgin Money London Marathon at Teenage Cancer Trust, along with key marketing positions at Great Western Railway and National Deaf Children’s Society, where Laura excelled in event management and stakeholder engagement. Laura holds a Certificate in Professional Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Communication and Media Studies from Nottingham Trent University.
