John E. has extensive experience in law enforcement and organizational leadership, serving as Assistant Superintendent at Hampden County Sheriff's Department since March 2021, and previously holding the position of Chief Administrative Officer at the same department from January 2017 to March 2021. In addition, John contributes to the Vera Institute of Justice as an Advisory Council Member since May 2018. Noteworthy past roles include Director of Operations for the Massachusetts Law Enforcement Torch Run Program and Campaign Manager for Nick Cocchi's successful sheriff campaign from February 2014 to January 2017. John's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science from Springfield College and a certification in Stress Management & Mindfulness from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. As the former Owner and CEO of Senergy Training and Nutrition, and Wellness Manager at Hampden County Sheriff's Department, John has a strong foundation in training and wellness initiatives.
