Debbie Snedden currently serves as the Superintendent at Hammond Academy of Science and Technology since June 2023. With extensive experience in education, Snedden has held various leadership roles, including Director of Curriculum and Assistant Superintendent at Hanover Community School Corp since July 2018, and Principal at Hanover School Corporation since July 2013. Snedden was also the founding Curriculum Director at Hammond Academy of Science and Technology from April 2010 to July 2013. Additional roles include Adjunct Faculty at Marian University Indianapolis, teaching graduate courses on best practices in teaching and assessment, as well as positions in Crown Point School Corporation and management at McDonald's Corporation. Snedden has pursued advanced education, completing a Doctoral program in Educational Leadership at Indiana State University and holding a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Ball State University, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Purdue University Calumet.
