Don McHoull is an experienced content editor currently working at The Hamilton Spectator since July 2018. Prior to this role, McHoull served as a subeditor at Pagemasters North America for The Canadian Press and held various editorial positions, including page editor at Toronto Star and sport editor at Metro International. Additional experience includes roles as a copy editor and sports editor at Niagara Falls Review and as a copy editor/reporter/photographer at The Timmins Daily Press. McHoull began a career in journalism as a copy editing intern at The Globe and Mail and was the editor in chief at The Eyeopener. McHoull earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from Ryerson University, completing studies from 1998 to 2003.
