Manuel Acosta is an experienced public safety professional currently serving as a Public Safety Officer for Greater Toronto Airports Authority since March 2023. Prior to this role, Manuel worked with Hamilton Police Service as a Field Support Services Special Constable since October 2020 and held a position in Corporate Security Services with the City of Toronto from April 2019 to October 2020. In earlier roles, Manuel was a Transportation Enforcement Security Specialist at Pearson Airport with ASP Incorporated from November 2014 to January 2020 and served as a Security Associate at Samsonshield Inc from August 2013 to November 2014. Manuel's career began at GoodLife Fitness in various customer service roles from 2008 to August 2014. Academically, Manuel holds an Honours B.A. in Criminology and Psychology of Law from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and a College Diploma in Police Foundations from Centennial College.
