Jodi McDonald has a extensive work experience in finance and operations. Jodi started their career in 2000 as a Junior Accountant at Hayes Johnston Chartered Accountants, where they worked until 2005. From 2005 to 2010, Jodi was a Financial Accountant at Rhodes Docherty & Co. In 2012, they joined Hamilton Island as a Business Planning Manager, and in 2020, they were promoted to the Director of Executive Operations & Planning role, where they currently work.

Jodi McDonald earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the Australian Institute of Business from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, Jodi completed a Certificate IV in Project Management from TAFE Queensland in 2014. In 2013, Jodi obtained a Diploma in Management from ROC. Jodi also holds an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Finance from TAFE NSW, completed in 2006. Jodi's education journey started at Turramurra High School in 2000.
