Laura Petch, PhD, is a seasoned medical writer currently serving as a Senior Medical Writer at Hamell since January 2024. Prior to this role, Laura worked as a Medical Writer at Alpharmaxim and contributed to OPEN Health Scientific Communications in various capacities, including Medical Writer and Associate Medical Writer, focusing on learning and development within medical writing. Laura's earlier experience includes management of the Language Editing department at Spandidos Publications and scientific editing for the Journal of Experimental and Therapeutic Medicine. Laura holds a PhD in Biosciences from the University of Kent, where research investigated extrachromosomal regulators in yeasts, and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from Oxford Brookes University.
