Rene Wagner is an accomplished soccer coach currently serving as an Assistant Coach at HSV since February 2024. Previously, Rene held similar assistant coaching roles at 1. FC Köln and SC Paderborn 07. Experience also includes a position as Academy Assistant Coach at Inter Miami CF and Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Barry University. Rene's coaching background is complemented by a tenure as Head Coach for the Palm Beach Gardens Predators DA and as a Scout & Placement specialist for Athletes USA. An educational foundation includes a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management from Hawaii Pacific University and a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Technische Universität Dresden. Rene's early sports specialization was fostered at Sportgymnasium Dresden.
