Gus Hewitt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Gus started their career as a Brand Marketing Intern at ANZCO Foods, a multinational company specializing in beef and lamb products. Gus then worked as a shepherd at Willesden Station. In 2017, they joined Tabula as an Area Manager and later took on the role of National Sales Manager, where they successfully built and implemented new sales strategies, leading to a significant increase in annual recurring revenue. From 2020 to 2021, Gus held the position of Head of Sales & Marketing at Tabula, overseeing global sales and marketing efforts and restructuring the Australian entity for profitability and market repositioning. Currently, they are working at Halter, first as the Business Development Manager for the South Island region and then as the Acting Head of Business Development. In their current role, they are responsible for driving business development initiatives and strategies.
Gus Hewitt attended Lincoln University (NZ) from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Agriculture) degree. Gus'sfield of study during this time included Business/Commerce, Marketing, and Agriculture. In 2014, they were also awarded the Future Leaders Scholar certification, and in 2015, they received the Charles Upham Scholar certification, both from Lincoln University (NZ).
