Charlie Baker has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Charlie currently holds the position of Vice President of Growth at Halter, a role they have been in since April 2022. Prior to this, Charlie served as the Director of Strategy & Operations at Halter from June 2021 to April 2022.
Before joining Halter, Charlie worked at Vend by Lightspeed, where they held the role of Director of Product - Platform from November 2019 to June 2021. Charlie also briefly served as the Director of Product - API from July 2019 to November 2019.
In 2018, Charlie founded and served as the CEO of ResponsiML. However, their tenure at ResponsiML was from July 2018 to December 2018.

Charlie also has experience working at Deloitte Digital, where they served as a Senior Consultant (Digital Strategy) from June 2015 to May 2016. During their time at Deloitte Digital, they led a digital transformation project at Adidas HQ and led a service design team at The Red Cross.
Charlie began their career at Deloitte New Zealand, where they held the role of Senior Consultant (Strategy & Operations) from February 2011 to February 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Law Clerk (summer programme) at Russell McVeagh from November 2009 to February 2010.
Charlie Baker has an impressive education history, with degrees from prestigious institutions. In 2006, they attended the University of Canterbury, where they earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with a focus on Finance. Charlie continued their academic pursuits in 2010 by participating in a university exchange program at Uppsala University, focusing on their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) studies.
