Chris Jansen is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in penetration testing and IT security assessments. Currently serving as a Penetration Tester at Halock Security Labs since October 2011, Chris specializes in internal and external penetration testing, physical security reviews, social engineering, and web application testing. Previous experience includes roles as a Security and Privacy Consultant at Crowe Horwath LLP, where Chris performed penetration tests and IT security assessments, and Technical Assistance Center Consultant at Util-IT, Inc., focusing on managing remote client networks. Additionally, Chris is the Owner and Photographer at Two Branches Photography since December 2018. Chris holds a degree in Information Assurance and Security Engineering with a focus on Network Technologies from DePaul University, complemented by education at Northside College Prep.
