Kathleen Bloome

Creative Director, Brand Motion at Hallmark Movies Now

Kathleen Bloome has a diverse work experience in the creative field. Kathleen started their career at Hallmark Media in July 2011 as a Junior Designer before moving up to the position of Designer/Animator in May 2012. In March 2017, they transitioned to the role of Senior Designer, contributing to the company's creative projects. Currently, they hold the position of Creative Director, Brand Motion at Hallmark Media, starting in September 2021.

In addition to their work at Hallmark Media, Kathleen also worked at Volkswagen in January 2011 as a Concept/Experience Designer. Kathleen was part of a design team responsible for creating an experience targeted towards first-time car buyers to increase Volkswagen sales. The project emphasized post-purchase activities and aimed to enhance brand loyalty by incorporating nostalgic elements of Volkswagen and road-tripping.

Prior to their professional experience, Kathleen worked as a Student Freelancer at the College for Creative Studies & HYPE Teen Center, located at the Detroit Public Library, from February 2010 to April 2010.

Kathleen Bloome pursued their education at the College for Creative Studies from 2007 to 2011. During this period, they focused on Graphic Design, specializing in Motion, Interactive, Print, and Identity. Prior to that, Kathleen attended Western Michigan University from 2005 to 2007, where they pursued studies in the field of Art. However, no specific degree was mentioned for their time at Western Michigan University.
