Michael Maconochie is a Senior Associate and Lawyer at Hall & Wilcox, with additional involvement as a TMA NextGen committee member at TMA Australia since June 2022. Michael's legal experience includes roles focused on insolvency and restructuring at Taylor David Lawyers and corporate advisory at McCullough Robertson. Notably, Michael served as an observer for the UNCITRAL Working Group IV on Electronic Commerce in 2019. Michael's academic accomplishments include a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Law and Dispute Resolution, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Laws and Business Management from The University of Queensland, along with advanced certification in insolvency from the University of Technology Sydney. Prior to a legal career, Michael managed retail operations at Vintage Cellars Australia.
