Shannon O'Connell, MASc, P.Eng., is a Senior Engineer at Halifax Regional Municipality, focusing on Resilient Infrastructure Standards within Development Engineering. Shannon's professional experience includes roles as Program Engineer and Development Engineer at the same municipality since June 2016. Prior to this, Shannon worked as a Civil Engineer at Stantec Consulting Ltd. and held a secondment position as Project Manager Development and Civil QC at Imperial Oil. Additionally, Shannon has experience as a Municipal Engineer at EXP. Shannon earned a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Dalhousie University, completing the Master's program in 2011 and the Bachelor's program in 2008.
