Joyce Zhang has a diverse and extensive work experience. Joyce is currently the Founder & CEO of thehalara.com, an online athleisure brand. Prior to this role, they were a Co-founder of Guazi.com and Maodou.com, which became the largest online used car and new car marketplace in China. Joyce also served as the CTO of CreditEase and Head of Big Data Innovation Center, where they led the company's big data vision and strategies. Before that, Joyce was the VP of Engineering of Hulu and Head of Hulu China R&D Center, overseeing the technology and product direction. Joyce also held Principal Program Manager and Principal Development Manager positions at Microsoft, where they led various teams and played a key role in developing online advertising platforms. Additionally, Joyce started their career as a Lead Software Engineer at Siebel Systems.

Joyce Zhang earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University from 1991 to 1996. Joyce later pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the same university from 1996 to 1998. Additionally, in 2015, they completed an Executive Program in Business from Harvard Business School.
