Miron Gersh is a Quality Control Specialist at Haema Blut- & Plasmaspendedienst since September 2021, responsible for quality control in accordance with §12 (1) and §14 AMWHV as well as the EU-GMP guidelines. Prior to this role, Miron served as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Universität Leipzig from October 2017 to August 2021, focusing on medical physics and biophysics under the supervision of a professor. Miron completed a PhD thesis at the Institute of Biochemistry in collaboration with another professor and participated in a research internship at Vanderbilt University in early 2020, specializing in computational structural biology. Education includes a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from Leipzig University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg.
