Estela Diaz is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in web development, software engineering, and communications. Currently serving as a Mentor at Hacker Fund since November 2017, Estela has developed and presented web development workshops aimed at high school students while actively mentoring at hackathons and increasing fundraising visibility through social media. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at EasyPost and Segment, as well as a Web Developer at Facebook and Zenfolio, where Estela significantly improved processes and user engagement. Estela's early career involved contributions to the Howard Hughes Medical Institute as a Communications Specialist, alongside various roles that honed skills in event coordination, social media promotion, and scientific data processing. Estela holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara and a certification in Front-End Web Development from General Assembly.
