Lauren Pritchett is a Senior Software Engineer at Tango, specializing in backend engineering since September 2022. Additionally, Lauren serves as a mentor at Hackbright Academy since January 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Engineer and Associate Software Engineer at Slack from September 2017 to December 2020, focusing on backend development, and a Software Engineering Intern at SmartZip. Lauren also worked as a Client Account Manager and as a Research Assistant at UC Santa Barbara, where contributions led to two published experiments in Psychological Science, recognized by the Huffington Post and The Economist. Earlier in education, Lauren completed a B.A. in Biological Anthropology from UC Santa Barbara and a Fellowship at Hackbright Academy.
