Adamma Izuegbunam Chau

Software Engineer Fellow at Hackbright Academy

Adamma Izuegbunam Chau is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in technology and program management. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Target since January 2021, Adamma also holds the position of Data Justice. Prior to this, Adamma was a Program Manager at Black Women Talk Tech from 2019 to 2021 and completed a Software Engineer Fellowship at Hackbright Academy in 2020. Experience includes a role as a Communications Assistant at the Human Rights Campaign in 2016 and a Political Communications Media Intern at Planned Parenthood Federation of America DC Office. Additional experience includes client engagement at Firespring, contributing to nonprofit advertising campaigns, and various leadership positions at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, including Vice Chancellor’s Character Council Board Member and New Student Enrollment Orientation Leader. Adamma's background encompasses a strong commitment to diversity, outreach, and academic support.
