Ryan Hu is currently a Jr. Software Development Engineer L3 at Amazon, focusing on the Amazon Advertising Partner Network since January 2023. Previously, Ryan held multiple roles at Hack4Impact, including Technical Lead and Associate Director of Engineering, where responsibilities included co-leading a comprehensive bootcamp for over 100 participants and implementing technical standards to enhance project workflows. Ryan also served as a Research Assistant in the AI for Search and Rescue project at Cal Poly, developing a dynamic form generation system to improve data collection reliability. Additional experience includes a Software Engineer Intern role at Trees.app, where Ryan redesigned API functions and developed automated tests, as well as a Lifeguard position at Columbia Athletic Clubs. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and has completed the International Baccalaureate Career Program in Computer Science.
