Kevin Mills is a web developer with a significant background in community service and youth engagement. Currently employed at Hack the Hood since July 2014, Kevin has contributed to various initiatives, including partnerships with major organizations such as Google and CNN, and has been involved in building websites and teaching essential skills like public speaking and photography. Previous experience includes a role at Oakland Local and a position at Weekend Training Academy where Kevin managed teams and oversaw projects. Active in the Black Student Union since 2012, Kevin has organized cultural events celebrating Black Heritage and has also worked as an assistant at S & 123’S daycare, managing children's care and activities. Kevin is an Encinal High School alumnus, graduating in 2016.
