Rebecca Cobbold is an experienced sales professional in the publishing industry, currently serving as Deputy Sales Director - Non Trade at Hachette UK since January 2019. Prior to this role, Rebecca held multiple leadership positions at Octopus Publishing Group, including Special Sales Director and Head of Special Sales, from May 2005 to January 2019. Earlier experience includes serving as UK Sales Manager at BBC Worldwide, where responsibilities included managing the UK sales team for licensing BBC commissioned and archive content in educational contexts. Rebecca holds a degree in English Literature and Language from the University of Leeds, completed in 1997.
