Marta Cabanillas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in language education and translation. Currently, Marta serves as a Spanish Language Teacher for French speakers at Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya since February 2021 and is also an Associate Professor in Translation, Interpretation, and Applied Languages. Previous roles include a translator for several publishing houses, including Hachette Education and Santillana Français, and positions at Instituto Cervantes as an accredited DELE examiner. Marta has a strong educational background, including ongoing doctoral studies in Translation, Gender, and Cultural Studies, alongside advanced degrees in Spanish literature and teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Marta's contributions to the field are further complemented by editorial roles and workshops focusing on translation.
