Vuong Tran is an experienced accounting professional with a comprehensive background in financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement. Currently serving as Assistant Controller at Hachette Book Group since November 2003, Vuong Tran has led initiatives such as the Oracle ERP Cloud conversion and managed a team of eight in prior roles as Accounting Manager. Previous positions include Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant, where responsibilities encompassed month-end closing, budgeting/forecasting, and the development of accounting information systems. Earlier career experience includes working as a Staff Accountant at Firepond, Inc. and as an Accounting Intern at JWG Associates. Vuong Tran holds an MBA in Accounting from Suffolk University and a BS in Accounting & Information Systems from Babson College.
