Karina Granda is an accomplished Art Director at Hachette Book Group since May 2016, specializing in art direction and design for a diverse array of childrenā€™s books, including notable New York Times Bestsellers such as STAMPED and THE FOLK OF THE AIR series. Prior to this role, Karina served as Associate Art Director and Senior Designer at Simon and Schuster from 2010 to 2016, where leadership in design and art direction for teen and middle grade titles was evident, contributing to the success of bestselling works like LOVE & GELATO. Karina's early career included positions as a Junior Designer at Achievement First and internships at Printed Matter and Time Out New York, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Publications and New Media, with a minor in Studio Art, obtained from New York University.
