Ed Darack is a prominent military historian, author, photographer, and cartographer, based in Cheyenne, Wyoming. As the founder of Darack Research since 2005, Ed has focused on innovating military unmanned systems to enhance situational awareness. Ed has also contributed as an outside collaborator on Microsoft Flight Simulator since 2020 and authored multiple books, including "The Warriors of Anbar" and "The Final Mission of Extortion 17." A seasoned contributor to various publications such as Weatherwise Magazine and Penguin Publishing Group, Ed has published hundreds of articles and seven books on topics ranging from military history to geography. Ed holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography from the University of California, Davis.
