David Hutcheson is an experienced design professional currently serving as the Design Studio Lead at Habitat since October 2017, where responsibilities include supporting senior management in a creative vision for Sainsbury’s Group brands, mentoring junior design team members, and driving design strategy. Previously, David held the position of Home Accessories Senior Designer at Sainsbury's from September 2016 to October 2017, focusing on decorative accessories and fragrance categories while leading the design team. David's prior experience includes a role as Group Design Manager at The I.S. Group from June 2005 to September 2016, overseeing product design and development, and serving as a Designer at Mirari Design from November 2003 to June 2005, specializing in interior designs for kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms. David holds a Bachelor of Art in 3D Design from Leeds Beckett University and a Btec Diploma in Art & Design from Isle College.
