Rodney Staggers Jr is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University, with extensive experience in research and practical applications related to autonomous systems and support for individuals with developmental delays. Currently serving as a Research Aide at Arizona State University's Center for Global Discovery and Conservation Science, Rodney leads the development of an autonomous rover system. Previous roles include a Research Intern at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences, where contributions involved modifying autonomous vehicles for marine data collection, and a Direct Service Provider at HOPE Group, providing therapeutic support to children. Additional experience includes a Student Worker position at Arizona State University and an Engineering Intern role with NASA Arizona Space Grant Consortium, alongside leadership in the National Society of Black Engineers.
