Steve Mount is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and risk management. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Law and Head of Enterprise Risk at HEB since November 2005, Steve has previously held the position of Partner at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP from July 1993 to November 2005. Prior experience includes serving as Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions Counsel at Qualex Inc. and as an Associate at Vinson & Elkins. Early in their career, Steve was a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Will Garwood at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Steve holds a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas McCombs School of Business.
