Robert Burns has extensive work experience in the field of biotech equity research. Robert started their career at Boston University School of Medicine as a Graduate Research Assistant and later became the Co-Chair of Business and Leadership in Medicine Elective. Robert then worked as a Biotechnology Equity Research Intern at Rodman & Renshaw before co-founding Notefy. Robert joined BMO Capital Markets as an Associate in Major Pharma Equity Research before transitioning to H.C. Wainwright & Co., LLC. At H.C. Wainwright, they held various positions including Associate, Vice President, and currently serves as the Managing Director in Biotech Equity Research. Robert also took on advisory and ambassadorial roles at CrowdMed, contributing to the development of the startup. Prior to their work in the biotech industry, they worked as a Senior Instructor at Examkrackers, INC and a Biochemistry Graduate Teaching Assistant at Boston University School of Medicine.
Robert Burns has a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Brooklyn College. Robert also holds a Master's Degree in Medical Science from Boston University School of Medicine. Robert is currently pursuing a degree in medicine (MD Candidate) at Boston University School of Medicine. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Series 7, 63, 86, and 87 from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
