Richard Saw is an accomplished sports medicine physician with extensive experience in various roles across multiple sports organizations. Currently serving as Chief Medical Officer at Gymnastics Australia and Lead Physician for the Australian Institute of Sport, Richard also holds positions as Team Doctor for the Athletics Australia Paralympics Team for both Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024. Prior roles include doctor for the Australian Men's Cricket Team and Team Doctor for North Melbourne Football Club, along with leadership positions such as Chief Medical Officer for AFL Umpires. Richard Saw's educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in MBBS (Hons) from UNSW and a Fellowship from the Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Medicine Physicians.
