Andrew Reamer is a Research Professor at the George Washington Institute of Public Policy at George Washington University, a position held since February 2011, focusing on assessing federal policies that support the United States. Reamer has previously served as a Nonresident Senior Fellow and Fellow at the Brookings Institution from October 2010 to September 2013 and from September 2004 to September 2010, respectively. Reamer also led Andrew Reamer & Associates as Principal from 1995 to 2004 and held the same title at Mt. Auburn Associates from October 1984 to October 1995. Educationally, Reamer earned a Ph.D. in Economic Development and Public Policy and a Master of City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School.
