Sheila Laforteza has extensive work experience in finance and auditing. Sheila began their career as an Auditor at SGV & Co. in 1990 and worked there until 1992. After that, they joined PAGCOR as a Financial Analyst II from 1992 to 1994. Sheila then moved to Naylor Association Solutions (Naylor, LLC) and worked as an Assistant Controller from 1994 to 1997. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Treasury & Audit at GWL Realty Advisors, starting from 1997.

Sheila Laforteza completed their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Santo Tomas from 1986 to 1990. In addition to their degree, they also hold certifications including a Certified General Accountant from CGA-Canada, a Certified Treasury Professional from the Association for Financial Professionals, and a Chartered Professional Accountant from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
