Maya Cherins is a communications professional with extensive experience in advocacy and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as the Senior US Communications Assistant at the Guttmacher Institute, Maya has previously held roles such as U.S. Communications Assistant at the United State of Women and Communications Intern at Planned Parenthood Generation Action UW-Madison. As President of Planned Parenthood Generation Action, Maya led the executive board and managed significant initiatives such as the Menstrual Product Drive, while also holding editorial positions at Bell Magazine where Maya contributed to and oversaw the publication's content.
