Jeff Schermer has worked in various roles in the advertising and creative industry. Jeff began their career as a Creative Intern at Tropic Survival in 2012. Jeff then joined BRIGHT RED\TBWA as a Junior Content Copywriter in 2013, working with clients such as Little Palm Island and Ocean Key Resort & Spa. In 2014, they worked as a Creative Copy Intern at Zimmerman Advertising, where they worked with clients such as White Castle and Autonation. Jeff also served as a Teachers Assistant at Florida State University from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, they returned to Zimmerman Advertising as a Junior Copywriter and later became a Copywriter, working with clients such as Chuck E. Cheese's and Boston Market. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at Republica LLC as a Copywriter, working with clients such as Toyota and Amigos For Kids. Jeff then joined The Walt Disney Company in 2018 as a Copywriter. Most recently, they have been working at GUT, starting as a Senior Creative in 2020, then becoming an Associate Creative Director in 2021, and currently serving as the Creative Director.
Jeff Schermer completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree at Florida State University from 2011 to 2015. In 2015, they attended the Miami Ad School (M.AD School) for scriptwriting.
