Eric Baer is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and AI development. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Gusto since September 2023, Eric previously held the role of AI Engineer at Vercel AI Accelerator and SCRIVENER, collaborating on notable projects such as SCRIVENER.ink alongside prominent sponsors like OpenAI and Anthropic. Previously, as Head of Technology at Livestock Nutrition Center LLC, Eric led digital transformation initiatives and built cost-effective software systems. Additionally, experience as Director of Software Engineering at Formidable Labs contributed to the company's growth and impact in the JavaScript community. Eric has held various roles at Starbucks, Walmart Global Tech, ReadyTalk, Comcast Cable, and the National Center for Atmospheric Research, showcasing a diverse skill set and a commitment to innovation. Eric completed a BS in Computer Science at the University of Colorado Boulder and pursued further education at Suffolk University and Lausanne.
