Yuriy Zinchenko has been working in the field of optimization since 1999. YURIY began their career as an assistant consultant at Tacis in 1996. In 1999, they moved to Cornell to pursue a PhD in optimization. Following the completion of their PhD, they became a post-doctoral fellow at McMaster University in 2005. In 2008, they took on the role of Associate Professor at the University of Calgary. Most recently, in 2018, they joined Gurobi Optimization as an Optimization Support Engineer.

Yuriy Zinchenko attended Cornell University from 1999 to 2005. YURIY then moved on to McMaster University, where they completed a post-doctoral fellowship from 2005 to 2008.
