Sona Shah is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Associate at gunnercooke since April 2024. Prior to this role, Sona held various positions at Lawrence Stephens, including Associate, Solicitor, and Trainee Solicitor from September 2019 to April 2024. Sona’s legal career began at McMillan Williams as a Paralegal in late 2017 and included a Mini Pupillage at Furnival Chambers and participation in summer vacation schemes at Clyde & Co and Berwin Leighton Paisner in July 2016. Sona also gained earlier experience as a Lifeguard at Poolside Manor and participated in legal work experience at The Purkiss Partnership. Educational qualifications include a Legal Practice Course from BPP University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Law from The London School of Economics and Political Science. Sona attended Dame Alice Owens' School and Queen Elizabeth's Girls' School for prior education.
