William Jelbert has a diverse work experience in the yacht manufacturing industry. William started their career at Robertson and Caine, where they worked as the Foreign Engineering Coordinator, responsible for setting up a joint venture in China and managing various projects. William then joined Marine Dragon Consulting as a Senior Consultant, where they conducted research on yacht industries in different countries and provided detailed reports for clients. William later worked at Mcconaghy Boats China, first as a Project Manager, coordinating yacht build projects, and then as a Design and Technical Manager, overseeing in-house design work and liaising with foreign design firms. Jelbert then moved on to Hudson Yacht and Marine, where they held the roles of Project Head and Vice President Production, focusing on developing new yacht models and improving production processes. William'smost recent position is at GUNBOAT, where they serve as the Chief Operations Officer, overseeing the design and production of a new range of luxury yachts and assisting with technical sales.

William Jelbert attended Paarl Boys' High School from 1999 to 2003. William later pursued a degree in ND MechEng from Cape Peninsula University of Technology from 2005 to 2008. During their time at Cape Peninsula University, they studied subjects such as Strength of Materials, Fluid Mechanics, Electrotechnology, Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and Design.
