Yasushi Hazama has extensive work experience in the field of audit and finance. Yasushi began their career at PwC in 2005, where they worked as an Associate until 2009 before being promoted to the role of Senior Associate until 2013. In 2013, they joined Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC as a Senior Staff member until 2016. Following this, they worked as a Senior Auditor at State Street Trust and Banking Co., Ltd from 2016 to 2017. Since 2017, Yasushi Hazama has been employed at Gumi, initially serving as an Internal Audit Manager until 2019 before being promoted to the position of Director, Head of Internal Audit.

Yasushi Hazama obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management from Rikkyo University, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. In addition, they obtained a Certified Public Accountant certification from the AICPA in March 2013.
