Murugan Shanmugam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in materials management and engineering store operations. Currently serving as a Senior Superintendent at Gulftainer since April 2020, Murugan oversees a stock valued at SR 14 million, managing 12,300 spare parts for container handling equipment maintenance. Prior to that, Murugan held leadership roles at GSCCO - Gulf Stevedoring Contracting Co., including Store Superintendent from July 2014 to March 2020 and from September 1996 to May 2014, managing stock values of SAR 33 million and 38 million, respectively, along with thousands of spare parts. Murugan began the career as a Storekeeper at Saudi Korea Port Services Company Limited, further developing expertise in inventory management and supply chain logistics. Academic qualifications include a Diploma in Materials Management from All India Council for Management Studies and a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from AVC Polytechnic College in India.
