Gerard Klijnsmit has had extensive experience in the crude oil industry, working as a crude oil marketing and logistics manager for Gulf Keystone Petroleum International, Ltd in Iraq Kurdistan. Prior to that, Gerard held various roles in crude oil trading and export at companies such as PetroKazakhstan, Texaco, and Shell Trading. Gerard holds a BSc in organic chemistry from Delft University of Technology and an MSc in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
