Mark Hirst, TEP, FIoD, CDir, is an accomplished executive in wealth management with extensive experience across multiple leading financial institutions. Currently serving as the Group Head of Wealth Management at Gulf International Bank since June 2022, Mark previously held significant roles including Deputy Group CEO at Ahli United Bank and CEO of Standard Chartered Bank in Switzerland. Mark's background also includes prestigious positions as Managing Director at both Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management, as well as CEO & Chief Investment Officer at RBC Global Asset Management. Early in the career, Mark worked at Manulife Financial, Friends Provident, and the Confederation of British Industry. Mark holds a Master's degree in International Management from McGill University, a Diploma in International Program in Practicing Management from INSEAD, a BSc in Economics from Swansea University, and additional qualifications from Leeds Beckett University and the Institute of Directors.
