Piera Camposeo is an experienced educator with a focus on foreign language acquisition and curriculum development. Currently serving as a Lecturer in the Intensive English Program and Intensive Language Institute at the University of Miami since February 2020, Piera also works as a Consultant for Guilderland Central School District, providing expertise in curriculum development and classroom management. In addition to these roles, Piera has been a Curricula Developer and ESL teacher at Miami-Dade County Public Schools since September 2017, where responsibilities include developing and delivering curricula for Italian, French, Spanish, and ESL programs in line with State of Florida learning standards. Previous experience includes serving as a Language Teacher at Guilderland Central School District from September 2011 to June 2017. Piera's academic background includes a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction and a Master’s Degree in TESOL - Foreign Languages from the University at Albany, where teaching certifications in multiple languages have been attained.
