Sean Bonner began their career in 1997 when they founded and became the CEO of Bonner Investment Group. In 2004, they moved to Deutsche Bank where they worked as an Equity Derivatives Trading. In 2009, they became a Portfolio Manager at Carne Large Cap Value Fund. In 2011, they founded and became CEO of Carne Capital. In 2013, Sean was a Department Head at a Navy Reserve Unit for the Defense Intelligence Agency. In 2014, they were a Board Member of the Newman Foundation at University College Dublin. In 2017, Sean was a Portfolio Manager at Philadelphia Investment Partners and a Volunteer at Team Rubicon. In 2018, they became the Founder of Guild.

Sean Bonner attended the University of Delaware from 1993 until their graduation in 2018. Sean then attended New York University's Veterans Future Lab, where they earned an Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies degree in 2019. In 2014, they attended the U.S. Naval War College Officer Leadership Development Course. Sean is currently attending New York University's Data Future Lab, where they are pursuing an Information Technology degree, expected to be completed in 2021.
