Katie Steward is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in Montessori and traditional teaching environments. Currently a Montessori Teacher at Guidepost Montessori since May 2021, Katie previously held roles in communications and outreach at Montessori Northwest, where a digital marketing strategy was created and user data was analyzed. Earlier experience includes teaching 3rd grade at the West Linn Wilsonville School District and 1st grade at Corvallis School District 509J, where collaborative teaching excellence was pursued. Additional roles include Youth Ministry Assistant at Willamette Christian Church and supporting science education initiatives as a Scientist in Residence. Katie holds a Master of Education in Elementary Education from Portland State University and a Techdegree in UX Design from Treehouse.
