Joe Oakes is a highly experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Senior Security Engineer at GuidePoint Security since June 2023. In addition to this role, Joe Oakes has been the Chairman of the Executive Board at Royal Oakes Family Farms, LLC. since November 2022. Previously, Joe Oakes held key positions at General Dynamics Information Technology as SOC Network Security Monitoring Deputy Lead and at the 184th Wing of the Kansas Air National Guard as a Cyberwarfare Operator. Joe Oakes also worked as a SOC Shift Lead at ManTech and D2Consulting. Joe Oakes holds a Master of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Southwestern College, along with two Associate of Arts and Sciences degrees from the Community College of the Air Force and Butler Community College.
