Laura Fulda has extensive experience in the fields of donor communications, community development, marketing, and public relations. Laura is currently working as the Director of Donor Communications at Guide Dogs for the Blind since 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Community Development at Child Advocates of Silicon Valley from 2015 to 2020. In this role, they managed the marketing, development, and volunteer recruitment functions. Before that, Laura worked as a Capital Campaign Consultant at Guide Dogs for the Blind in 2014-2015. Laura also held the position of Vice President of Marketing & Development at East Bay SPCA from 2011 to 2014, where they were responsible for overseeing all marketing, PR, and development programs. Laura has also served as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Humane Society Silicon Valley from 2003 to 2011, where they directed PR and communications campaigns, and produced various outgoing communications. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal at DD&K Communications from 2001 to 2003, managing investor and public relations campaigns for high-tech companies. Laura has also held roles in investor relations at NETGEAR and Beyond.com. Laura began their career as a News Director, Reporter, Producer, and Anchor at Public Radio from 1983 to 1994.
Laura Fulda completed their MA in Telecommunications Management at Ohio University from 1991 to 1992. Laura also pursued a degree in General Fine Arts with a focus on Radio and Television, Speech Communication, and Music at the University of Arizona.
