Edward Gaug has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in digital marketing and partnerships. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Social Marketing & Content Coordinator at CafePress Inc., where they assisted the Director of Brand Communications with daily posts and updates, built social media advertising campaigns, and created social imagery and designs. In 2014, they joined Dream Local Digital as a Senior Marketing Strategist, focusing on developing online communities, building brand awareness through social media and online marketing, and mentoring junior strategists. Edward then worked as a Freelance Designer at COPA90 from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they joined EmberTribe as a Growth Specialist, working with small and medium-sized tech businesses to help them grow their customer base through social media advertising, paid search, and marketing strategy. Edward also contributed to content creation, audience building, and competitive research. From 2017 to 2020, they served as a Sr. Digital Marketing Manager at CartHook, where they developed strategic plans and tactics across platforms, collaborated with customer success and support teams, and created digital marketing plans. In 2020, they joined Gridwise as a Digital Marketing professional, optimizing paid acquisition campaigns on various platforms, driving the creation of top-tier ads, and growing the user base. Edward then worked at Octane AI from 2020 to 2022, initially serving as a Partnerships & Demand Generation Manager, focused on building and maintaining partnerships, executing GTM strategies, and generating leads. Later, they became a Senior Partnerships Marketing Manager, leading the development and execution of marketing programs and go-to-market strategies. Most recently, in 2023, they joined Guidance as the Director of Marketing and Partnerships, working to enhance the brand, develop partner strategies, and launch successful campaigns.

Edward Gaug earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Central Connecticut State University from 2005 to 2009. Edward then pursued a Master's degree in Digital Media Studies from the University of Denver from 2010 to 2011. In addition, they obtained certifications in Google AdWords and Google Analytics from Google in 2016, and an Apple Certified Technician certification from Apple in 2013.
